Hi Dot, I'm trying the Baby Knee High Booties to see if I can adapt it to let me put a shell pattern around the top. I've downloaded about 100 patterns to try to match an original bootie from 29 years ago--they need the new set for twins. Love your site! (lexecrochet@gmail.com)

Hi Dot, Love your site. I'm making the ankle bootie to see if I can adapt the top to match a 29 year old pattern. I'm matching a new set for a christening for a set of twins. I've downloaded at least a hundred patterns but can't find a match. lexecrochet@gmail.com

Hi Dot: I've been looking for an pattern that might work as booties - not for a baby, but for my Papillon, she's only 6 lbs, and no booties on the market will stay on, or for that matter go on. So...I'm going to try your baby knee socks pattern. If it works, I'd be glad to share a photo so that others might try it! Thanks and cross your fingers for me. Wendy

Hi, I was having a little trouble with the pattern. I can't seem to get 12 sts into 2" for the life of me, and I tend to crochet tightly as it is. Am I missing something? I'm not getting the gauge at all. Thanks :)

I would like to make these for Preemie babies. They look like they would not be too restrictive for those tiny legs and feet.
Thank you for these very lovely patterns.

Great idea, Dot! These could probably be made in a larger size by adding more rounds at the end. :)
