CLUSTER CRAZE SCARF

CLUSTER CRAZE SCARF
 Cluster Craze ScarfCluster Craze Hat and Scarf

SIZE:
68" x 4 3/4"
SKILL: Easy
HOOK SIZE: J (K optional for starting chain)
YARN: Caron Simply Soft, color bone 9703, 5 oz, 280 yds, 100% Acrylic. Scarf  weighs 5 oz when finished.
SUPPLIES LIST: Scissors; blunt needle; tape measure
GAUGE: 8 clusters = 5"; 8 rows = 4" (4 cluster rows and 4 sc rows)
STITCHES USED: chain, slip stitch, cluster, beginning cluster, double crochet, single crochet.
SPECIAL STITCH INSTRUCTIONS:
BEGINNING CLUSTER - beg cluster:  chain 3, (yarn over, insert hook in same stitch, yarn over, pull yarn thru stitch, yarn over, pull yarn thru 2 loops), 2 times, yarn over and pull yarn thru all 3 loops on hook
CLUSTER: (yarn over, insert hook in stitch, yarn over, pull yarn thru stitch, yarn over pull yarn thru 2 loops on hook) 3 times, yarn over and pull yarn thru all 4 loops on hook.
ABBREVIATIONS: ch - chain; sl st - slip stitch; sc - single crochet; dc - double crochet; sk - skip; ea - each; beg - begin(ning); yo - yarn over; sp - space

INSTRUCTIONS
Beginning chain counts as a stitch.

ROW 1: ch 203, (cluster, ch 3, cluster) in 5th ch from hook, *sk 3 sts, (cluster, ch 3, cluster) in next st. Repeat from * across, end with sk 1 st, dc in last st. Ch 1, turn. (100 clusters and 50 ch-3 sps)

ROW 2: sc in first dc, 5 sc in ea ch-3 sp across, sc in top of beg ch. Ch 3, turn. (250 sc)

 TIP: skip everything between ch-3 spaces

ROW 3: sk 3 sts, (cluster, ch 3, cluster) in next st, *sk next 4 sts, (cluster, ch 3, cluster) in next st. Repeat from * across. End with sk next 2 sts, dc in last st. Ch 1, turn. (100 clusters and 50 ch-3 sps)


ROW 4: Repeat row 2

ROW 5:  Repeat row 3

ROW 6:
Repeat row 2

ROW 7:
Repeat row 3

ROW 8: Repeat row 2, ending with 3 sc in last st.

EDGING
Working along short edge, 5 sc in side of next 3 dc, 8 sc in last dc.

Working along long edge (bottom of beginning chain 203), 5 sc in ea ch-3 sp across to last sp, 8 sc in last sp.

Working along short edge, 5 sc in sides of next 2 dc, 8 sc in last dc. Join in first sc.

Fasten off and weave in ends.

Dot your patterns are beautiful.
I been trying many times to get a pattern for that CLUSTER CRAZE HAT and all I am getting is a blank page over and over again..:(
I can get the scarf pattern but not the hat.
Any idea why?

I really like that hat!:)
