Hi Sara, I sent you an email. If you can't go get a J, I'd recommend using the K, but keep in mind your hat will probably turn out larger than the one I made. |

Dot! I want to thank you for your wonderful patterns. So thank you! However, I'm about to start this hat and your matching scarf, and I only have a H and K ... no J! Which would you suggest using? Or should I go purchase a J hook? Any suggestions would be great. Thank you again for your beautiful patterns! |

Thank you, MaryMargaret. I'm glad you like this hat pattern. I don't know what I'll come up with next. I never really plan on designing anything, I just pick up my hook and yarn and whatever happens happens. I'm afraid I'm as guilty as all the other designers when it comes to designing for the men. I just don't have any ideas for them. |

I loved making this hat!! It is lacey but yet warm enough for our very cold Canadian winters. I do a lot of charity crochet/knitting and plan to make several cluster hats and scarves for women who need them for Christmas. (if I can ever fill requests from my daughter's friends. Dot will you be posting any nice patterns for men? Crochet men's things are so hard to find. I want to do some hats for teens?men who have lost their hair to chemotherapy. I am sure that you can come up with something lovely. I look forward to more enjoyment from your Blog. It is so generous of you to share your lovely patterns. (all nicer than the expensive ones for sale)

Thank you so much for sharing your talents with all of us! I made this hat in a soft superwash wool today - I am going very thin on top and was looking for a little coverage that was lgihtweight in this heat and lacy and feminine - this hat (Cluster Craze) fit the bill perfectly - I hope to have a piccy up on my blog very soon! |
