Your patterns are so appealing. I am on my second year of cancer free. Put on some weight I can't lose. But your designs got me motivated to crochet again, and I know I deserve all of these LOL. Can't wait to get started. Thank you so much for sharing.

Hi JeanneZ, Here's a copy of what I sent to Dollie...
Some things you could try, is use a larger hook, or make more increases in the yoke portion, instead of working round 5 and 9 even, do increases in these 2 rounds. The pineapple pattern I used is a multiple of 15, so make sure you end with a number of stitches that is divisible by 15.

I am no good at resizing items. I don't know the mathematics involved in up or down sizing. I also don't know how to make increases in the pattern stitches themselves, so all my increase rows are done in the yoke portion of the patterns.

I am so sorry I can't be any more help. One of the reasons I joined this group is to (hopefully) learn how to resize garments.

Good luck with your project.

Hi Dot. I love this pineapple poncho. I was wondering, how to make it larger? I wear 4x in blouses so I figure this would have to be larger. I would appreciate any suggestions before I start the poncho. My email is uolaria@yahoo.com. I love your site and all your patterns. Thank you for sharing them with us.

I really like your crochet patterns. My teenager just love them. I was trying to teach my girls a needle art and she would take to anything. That is, until she saw your page. Thanks for helping to give her motivation. She's starting on your loop hat.

Thanks again for the wonderful pattern. I just finished stitching this Pleasing Pineapples Poncho. There is one correction: To repeat the Rnds 11-17, 3 times....there should be 38 rows and not 37. Thanks again for sharing your wonderful talent with us who stitch, but can't design!
