Hi Pat, This is probably an intermediate to advanced hat. It is definitely doable. If you run into trouble, click on the "contact me" link at the top of the home page and send me an email. I'm never too far from my keyboard and don't mind helping out if I can.

This is the first pattern I am trying from your site. Too many to choose from! Would you consider this an advanced hat or harder? I'm pretty adept but need to make two for xmas gifts..should be doable right?
Thanks for the great site

Hello Dot,
How are you feeling today? I really like your new "sweetness" hat! Would it be possible to make it in cotton yarn for use on a cool spring day?
Thank you for the lovely patterns!!
