Round Poncho
round poncho full circle

10/14/04 Pattern tested by Chelle of Luv 2 Crochet and corrections have been made. Thank you, Chelle. You're the best!

Materials: P hook; 2 - 6 oz skeins Lion Brand Homespun, color, Tudor

Hi Julie, I think they would look great together. You can make this poncho as long as you want. The poncho should be OK in most any type worsted weight yarn. The double crossed hat will need something that's a little stiff. That's why I used multiple strands of yarn held together.

Hi Dot! Beautiful work! I, too, am a novice, but I have theconfidence to take on your patterns from the comments others have made.

I really like the look of your Double Crossed hat, and I was wondering if I worked this short round poncho a little longer if they would look good together. I have some WW chenile that is a little on the light side- maybe this would work if I doubled it in place of the homespun? Hmmm....

Thank you, Karin. That's exactly what I love to hear...my patterns are easy to follow. I love learning and trying new stitches myself and I get a real kick out of sharing my designs with everyone.

Your site is truly the answer to a lot of patterns. The instructions are very easy to follow and if someone has never tried different stitches, this site is the best to learn from.

Thank you.
