Your patterns are wonderful. I have never been able to crochet a hat until I found your patterns. Know I have tried several different ones and they have turned out good. Thanks for making the patterns so understandable. I am thinking of starting a organization where I can make hats for foster children. |

Thanks Lenore, glad you like it. I started sewing a button on the end of the curls so it could button onto the top of the hat through the beginning hole. |

This is cute, with the curly pony tail, which I've seen made. The curls can be put on other children's hats.

I was exploring the net looking for chemo caps when I ran across your site. The best one I've ever found. I'm starting chemo in after Christmas. If I don't need them I'll donate them. Thanks |

You can use most any yarn you want on these hats, but I have great success with Caron Simply Soft. |

I have tried everywhere to find Red Heart Hokey Pokey yarn. No one seems to have it. Can you suggest another yarn? |

hi Dot..I'm making hats for orphan kids in Russia. They'll feel as tho they're "stylin" ( while their heads are kept warm!) |

That makes me so happy, Melissa. Since I designed this hat, I started sewing a button (a little larger than the beginning round hole) to the curls and that way they are detachable and the hat can be worn with or without the curls. This is one of my favorite hats. I hope your teenager likes the it. |
